Welcome

Hello and welcome to the fitfortheloveoffood blog! It’s been a long time coming, but with some good advice from a childhood buddy and family member I have finally started a blog. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you know I love food and everything about it. It’s not uncommon for me to think of my next meal while eating what’s in front of me. I love to experiment in the kitchen and enjoy using a lot of fresh produce from my very own veggie patch.

Many of my posts have included meals in jars, gluten free goodies, smoothies, brekky bowls, sweets that are free of refined sugars and some delightful food while I’m out and about.

It was put to me that Instagram has so many delicious pictures of food that we all drool over, but there are never any recipes to go with it. The idea behind this blog is all about food and fitness because these two go hand in hand. I’m not a nutritionist or a personal trainer but I have some rad recipes and meal prep ideas ready to share that are drool worthy just thinking about them. I love being active and hitting the gym, so hopefully I can give you all some ideas for simple workouts.
